  • 1.  XPression Project Server Show Name Change

    Hi there--

    I have an XPresssion project deployed via a XPression Project server (v10). I'd like to change the name of the project from "Election 2022" to "Vote 2026." Is it as simple as editing the name of the "show" via the XPression Project Server Manager application? Would there be any other factors I need to take into consideration?

    Scott,

    Two things to watch out for.

    If you are using Project Server in a MOS/Newsroom workflow, any existing graphics built in your rundown using the "Election 2022" show name will break and will have to be rebuilt.

    Also, when users go to deploy the project from project server, the default deploy folder will change from "...\Election 2022\" to "...\Vote 2026\". Not a concern from a workflow standpoint, but something to keep in mind for storage and organization.
