I wanted to ask about something that happened to me while we were on air during a live event.
We had a video loaded in XPression, and at some point the material seemed to break or become transparent, like it lost the link to the video file. While we were live, I had to drag the video back in and place it again on the Scene Director timeline so it would relink and play correctly.
The strange thing is that we had tested it many times before going live, and it never failed. Nobody changed anything related to DataLinq or the file location. It simply looked like the material lost its link to the source file while we were on air.
Has this ever happened to anyone before? Is this a known issue or something that can happen under certain conditions?
It honestly worries me a bit because everything had been tested a lot beforehand, and then it failed during the live show. I'm trying to understand what could have caused it so we can prevent it from happening again.
