I’m trying to see how I can route MADI channels 1, 2, 3. and 4 to audio meters on my PIPs defined in Ultrascape. Is that even possible?

there are a few steps invloved.
- Make sure your MADI inputs show up in your source table.
2. each Madi source needs to have the same port copied on all levels (this allows for audio shuffeling)
- Make sure your PIP destinations include the VU meters in the Audio level
4. Your PIPs need to have VU meters assigned. You can see this in the head selection tab.
- Also in head selection…The Audio meter setting should be set to Logical. this will allow the Multiviewer to look at the database instead of the physical port.
Create a control panel to route your audio to the Pips.

That’s how we have it set up. But for some reason things that should be routed to meters 1 and 2 are showing up on 3 and 4.
This sounds similar to an issue we fixed in version 5.1.4
UR-5572: Ultriscape / Fixed an issue where the PiP audio meter did not reflect the correct
audio source.
what version are you running?
Ultrix firmware 4.7.9
Not sure if there is a different version for Ultrix
You could benifit from an upgrade.
Send techsupport an email asking for the latest version and update your system I think we addressed this audio issue in 5.1.4
