Configure Xpression CG with Custom Controls

Hi all,
I followed Les’ video about how to configure Xpression CG with Carbonite CC. I have, I believe, the Hardware Setup configured correctly in that it shows “active” (image 1 below). The system is already configured for playing back graphics into the Carbonite’s media players. I confirmed the port number.

In image 2, you will see what I get in CC/Command Catagory: Devices > Devices: RossTalk (Xpression) > Sequence Up. It all shows “none” and I have no control. This is the case for all Xpression actions.

What am I missing?

You did not associate the Device port (slot) with the Input that it is connected to.

Thanks Les but that video seems to discuss configuring Xpression to send graphics to the media players. We were already good with that. What I am looking for is custom control over the Xpression sequence.

the first half is setting up the XPRession… The second half was setting up the Switcher device control.

The link was to the point where you link the Device you created to the Source on the switcher so that they are associated.

If you can get a teamviewer session up and running then email me the login details I will hop on and help you configure it.
