In the MultiView Windows the source labels overlay the video images. Is there a way to scale them back so that the entire image is viewable above the label? Could this “underscan” option be considered for a future firmware update?
Hi James,
Currently what you have is what is available. We are aware of a request for UMD layouts.
Les
Is there a plan to implement this? It would be nice for UMD to not cover the video signal.

Tom:
You can position the labels on the top or bottom – You can also change the density of the labels. You can accomplish either via (dashboard is easiest) select multi-view layout you want to control then select the position on the multi-view lay of where the source is… IE, Camera, Tape Machine, Graphics… when you click the source box the dialogue comes up with board / tallies / position / density and so-forth. Be aware you have to change each source selection area independently.

The overscan issue of Multiviewer is complained by customer for years since CrossOver series switcher.
On Carbonite, our work-around is turn off the border of each MV window, and use label tally instead of box tally.
But this work-around is not accepted by all customers, because there is no visible boundary between the source windows.
