sorry if this is covered elsewhere (in that case please direct me to it), but I can’t seem to find any info on this topic:
I am interested in introducing scripts into Xpression projects, yet I cannot seem to even locate an interface in Xpression that allows me to enter scripting language. Manual is decidedly silent on this topic… please if somebody could show me where to get started on this…

Scripts can be applied on the scene or on an object within a scene. Just right click on the object in the layout mode and select ‘Edit Script Events’. On the top of the window you will see what definitions are assigned automatically (example: Dim Text as xpTextObject). On the left side of the window you can change the trigger (example: OnOnline). The Xpressions directory contains a file called xPressionsSDK (help folder). It will give you information on what commands can be used.
This forum is also a great resource for help when it comes to scripting different events. Everyone is going to take a different approach to similar problems, and different solutions will work well in different situations. As a member here, I would strongly encourage you to ask your questions here and see if anyone else has the same questions, or dig around and see if it’s already been talked about.
