SDI Embedded Audio- Graphite- not muting

Hello! First post here, and was trying to find a way to search the forum, with no luck. So I apologize in advance if this has come up recently/before.

We are not HEAVY users of our Graphite/Carbonite system. But we have an event coming up on Friday so I set it up today to test it out (it’s been offline for about a year!).

I have the Audio Interface GUI open, and out SDI input/channel 1 has embedded audio feeding in and out to the Main Mix. But when I have the channel muted, it still feeds out, and the slider is also all the way down, but it is still mixing to the main out. Any ideas how to actually mute/control the level from that channel?

Thanks! Amanda

check you do not have it on multiple Faders… the system can do that.

Also make sure that where you are listening to the Audio has been setup to send out the correct mixer..

Ok. So output 1 seems to be set for “main”…

I’m a little more confused about these setting though…

Does that look correct? Amanda

Well I can see that at Fader 18 CAM1 is assigned again (channels 3 and 4 but still it’s assigned again…) also in the AFV Trigger column you see which video source is triggering the Audio Fader to turn on…

Then in the Mixer Config you are hiding faders from View .. that does not “disabled” them from the mix it is just used to hide them from view… so you might when on the main mix press the Show All Button next to the custom view button … then you will find what faders are turning on and adding audio you do not want to hear.

That worked! Strange the cameras are all set to multiple inputs. But the show all is letting me see what is actually coming in now. Thanks!
