I have a video encoder from another vendor that I’m trying to send 1080p59.94 out of my Carbonite. It isn’t working, and the encoder vendor claims that it is because there is no ST 352 ID being sent. I tried reading the SMPTE papers on it, but it’s a bit over my head. I have two questions:
How do I verify ST 352 ID flag is being sent?
Per the SMPTE standards, is this flag optional?
Which Carbonite Switcher is it and what version is it running (can be found on the Status Menu in DashBoard).

Carbonite Ultra, version 9.2.2.19659
Sorry should have asked – which Switcher Mode is it operating in?

I will have it put on a Phabrix to validate this – however not sure about it since we would have at this point heard from a lot of users if there was an issue.
What is the Encoder – maybe we can also access one or have it already.
I think it is the encoder, but I don’t have a way to test for ST 352 and just have to take each vendor’s word for it.
The switcher is running in HD 4 Key mode

Thank you – I will try to get something running on that version and have a look at it in a Phabrix
