USe DashBoard to scrub a HTML website (post scripts)

Hi there!

So this one might be a little wierd…
I’m allready using the HTTP Request to get back some sites with the full HTML and JSON string etc etc… But that’s all pre-scripts on the sites behalf.

Is there a way for me to get the website after the scripts have been run etc, so that I can read out from the tables that have then been populated with the data from the scripts?
I know it’s a really dirty way of getting the data from a website, but I honestly cant think of another way of doing this as it stands right now… The developer of the website in question has plans for a way to request data straight from the JSON, but they are suuuuuper slow and I dont seeing this being implemented anytime soon really.

Aleksander,
I’m following in hopes of someone sharing their solution in dashboard, but you can do this with excel. I’ll post a screenshot when I get back to my laptop, but it’s in the data ribbon. Unfortunately you can’t use this option if you have legacy sharing enabled. I have a separate workbook that contains the table connections so I can just set up a sheet for each roster and refresh the table then save it out as csv, xml, or whatever. It’s another step… but it works.

Hmmm.. Yeah I guess that’s one workaround… Though I dont like to rely on third party software for this…
I know they are working on access to this through an API (quite possibly PubNub)… But I know that this will take months yet… And season starts saturday!

So, again, does anyone have an idea of what could be possible?
