I have an interesting situation. Although this issue precedes those updates, I am running all current SW for Touch Drive / Carbonite and Dashboard.
Custom Control of Xpression comes and goes throughout the day. That is, the use of CC to recall Xpresstion Take IDs to the TD panel sometimes works, and other times throughout the day, it doesn’t. This fail happens regardless of where CC is executed … the TD panel, the Dashboard touch screen, the PC-based Dashboard, or a soft panel. This fail includes all apparent communications between TD and Xpression originating from the Carbonite side. Recalling Take IDs via the Xpression sequence list sends the GFX to the appropriate TD media player as expected.
The odd part is it works sometimes. The building is in COVID lockdown. There is not much network traffic. IT has looked at everything and even added a NIC to the Dashboard PC. There are no file changes or operation changes between the time the CC works and when it doesn’t. The work - fail times are not consistent. Ross Tech Support has confirmed the IP address is correct, and at that time, this function worked.
