Facility Control

This is Tenafly High School where we have a highly professional studio thanks to many NYC broadcasters hand down equipment.  I am quite adept at many aspects the engineering involved.  Recently we inherited Cambot 700XY with 700 heads.  I have set up one so far with a Grass Valley LDX86 with a Canon Digi Super 22 XS 7.3 - 161 mm 1-1.8 lens.  Dashboard talks via translation server to the unit and I have pan and tilt operational.  I would, at least, by weeks end like to get lift and lens control operational to use and show to our Board of Education and Superintendent with the hopes that they will spring for the Smart Shell, etc.  When I plug the lens in, it zooms in and and seems to cycle remaining in the tight position.  Any hints, help, etc. would be greatly appreciated.  We are hoping to eventually provide our students with a creative full Cambot experience.  Thank you in advance for any assistance.  David Di Gregorio - 551-655-8661
