We’re excited to introduce Quorum 3.3 a major step forward as the platform continues to evolve into a fully modern production tool. This update brings smarter content handling, tighter integration with AI-powered tools, and more intuitive ways to build and run your meetings, events, or broadcasts.
Whether you're managing a city council session, a legislative hearing, a corporate town hall, a boardroom meeting, or a hybrid executive presentation, Quorum 3.3 gives you the flexibility and creative control to adapt to any production environment, government or corporate..
Smarter Marks for Mixed-Source Productions
In earlier versions of Quorum, marks were focused primarily on camera control. With version 3.3, that changes in a big way. Now you can include a mix of source types in each mark—like clip players, presentation PCs, and of course, cameras.
For example:
- One mark could trigger a camera preset,
- Another could cue up a video clip,
- A third could bring up a presentation feed.
All of this can happen in one streamlined interface, giving the operator the freedom to guide the production in real time, based on what’s needed in the moment.
We’ve also made setup much easier. Instead of relying on technical tables or configurations, users can now build and edit marks visually using Room Edit Mode. Just drag, drop, and assign—no guesswork required.
Source Control That Follows the Action
We’ve made the Source Control panel smarter too. It now automatically shows controls for whatever content is active on your screen. If a clip player is in Preview 2, you’ll see clip playback controls. If it’s a camera, you’ll see presets.
This saves time, reduces clicks, and makes Quorum much easier to use, especially for operators who aren’t deeply technical.
Vision[ai]ry Integration Begins
We’re laying the groundwork for the future with initial support for Vision[ai]ry, Ross Video’s AI-powered camera automation system. In Quorum 3.3, you can now monitor Vision[ai]ry systems directly from the interface. Control features like automatic framing and speaker tracking will be coming in future releases.
This is a key step toward enabling smarter, more automated meetings, especially in setups where reducing operator load is a priority.
Quorum Now Speaks Spanish
We’ve added Spanish as a selectable interface language in Quorum 3.3, joining French (introduced in a previous release). With over 500 million Spanish speakers around the world, this makes Quorum more accessible than ever.
A Quick Note on Database Upgrades
As a reminder we stopped supporting out previous database system PostgreSQL as of Quorum 3.2. If you’re upgrading from an older version (pre-3.1), you’ll need to migrate your database to MariaDB before moving to 3.3. Not sure what you’re running, or need help with the upgrade? Our team can help you check and plan the upgrade with you.
See It Live at IBC 2025
We’re excited to showcase Quorum 3.3 live at IBC 2025 in Amsterdam! Join us at the Ross Video booth in Hall 8, Stand 8.B91 for hands-on demos of the new mark system, intelligent source control, and a sneak peek at what’s coming next.
