Production Workflow

I built a couple clip transitions with the animation coming from blackstorm. The animation doesn't cover the entire frame, so i used a wipe to transition it seamlessly. So, as the animation runs, the wipe is underneath.

So, i hit space bar with the animation coded in the rundown and when going from xpt to xpt it transitions fine

But, when i transition to a server the wipe is delayed for some reason. And i've tried it with cuts and dissolves and same thing, always delayed.

Am i missing something when building my CC?

Is your video server set up to delay a few frames in the switcher? We often do this to pre-roll the server to avoid the on-air pause when you take the video. If a pre-roll is set, then the switcher will delay taking the server to air (either cutting it on to program, or as a key), depending on the amount of frames you have set as the delay.
