Production Workflow

Hello,

I have a new OD installation (Ver 10.0.5, build 5927), going online next week.
An issue that has been reported to me is that the Custom Control window attached to Rundown Control will periodically lose all of the saved Custom Control assignments. Each tab will become completely clear, or nearly so. When this happens, it seems to revert almost to some default CC's.
The switcher does have the correct profile loaded at these times, the CC's are physically present on the switcher, and choosing TOOLS > RELOAD CUSTOM CONTROLS from Rundown Control does NOT restore these.
Seems very random when it happens. Each Director routinely saves their User Preferences when they exit the program... but even if they didn't, the existing CC's shouldn't just completely disappear.

Is this a known issue that anyone has encountered before? If so, I'd love to know how to address it. At this point, Directors are re-assigning buttons each time they go missing.

You should see if you can upgrade your overdrive. I am running 12.0.9 with a vision version 18.1c getting ready to go to OD 15. Sometimes when we do our weekly restart we have problems with either our Custom Controls or our audio names to fix both I have to restart services on the overdrive server.

I've been using V. 10 for quite some time and never heard of this happening. You should contact Tech support.
