Normally a restart of the switcher frame and panel, server, and client will do. This should be done at least once a week, and you should create a backup file once a week.
To create a backup file, launch Rapid Restore, and follow the steps to create the file. I usually save it on the desktop, so it's within easy access. Name the files as "server" and "client" accordingly. I would also save it to a USB drive, or a shared folder, if the facility has one.
To restart the switcher, go to home/more/shutdown/restart.
To restart the server and client, the steps are the same as restarting any PC.
