During our new newscasts, we're having the reoccurring problem of one of our mapped keyboard shortcuts to a custom control- stop working during the middle of the rundown. The temporary fix to the problem is to- first, perform manually the sequence of events that the macro performs, and once in the commercial break- open preferences, navigate to the assigned key binding, remove the key binding, and [I]re[/I]assign the key binding. As you might imagine, the process is can take longer than one would want. Moreover, this fix temporarily corrects the problem, but it's happened on more than a few occasions.
Is this a problem that anyone else has ran into? Does anyone else's mapped key bindings not work from one rundown to the next? Does this sound like user error or a system issue?
