Production Workflow

Hi all,

So i ran into this issue last week where if i trigger a Blackstorm transition using the CC shot box, the transition will run, cut whatever is in preview but the OD rundown won't advance to the next item.

I should also point out that if i code a transition, or edit one in through overdrive it will advance the rundown.

Any ideas?

When you code it in OverDrive and Run it from the rundown you are seeing the System run the command and it "knows" that you want to advance the rundown. If you want to run those effects to perform a transition from the custom control and advance the rundown then you need to insert the overdrive advance after a pause in the custom control. So I would make 2 versions of it -- one for "coding" and then the one for "manual" so that it does advance the rundown -- or you could make Custom Controls that can modify the rundown (down or up sort of things) and have those so you can run the transition and then use them to move through the rundown after at your own pace.
