we have saved a breaking news live rundown in overdrive, using shots from quick recalls and we saved it. But when we open it some of our shots have disappeared. This starting happening after being upgraded to version 10.0. Any ideas on what we are doing wrong?

Did you move the quickrecalls after you first saved the live rundown? Or have you made any changes in the templates that the quickrecalls are based on?

I ran into this same problem. It wont remember the quick recalls, you have to right click and insert the actual template you want and fill it out. Only then will it be there once you save and re-open the rundown.

When you report "some of the shots have disappeared", do you mean the camera shot (robotic cam shot number) or the actual template is gone?

Do the quick recalls still reside in the quick recall shot box gui? Have you changed the template numbers?

I am on a version of V12. I will build a rundown tomorrow with quick recalls and look to see if it recalls fine.

One other question...are you using user profiles? Or does everyone use the same profile?

Try this method to see if the rundowns save properly.

    In the Rundown client app

    File

    Local copy

    Popup window

    -give the rundown a name

    To recall the rundown:

    Select new rundown

    In the Rundown client:

    Open the Edit function

    Select;Append

A window will open and you will see the rundown you just saved.

    Click to open

Saving this way will also save mos cg and server commands If rundown had been originally created through nrcs. It would also save any quick recalls that may have been added.
