Production Workflow

I've used Sony ELC, and they have a "manual" switching code whereby I can code multiple sources to my "shotbox" so I can manually switch a performance, parade, etc, off of the show rundown.
What can Overdrive do to that effect? And how?? Thanks...

Overdrive can switch sources on PGM, such as camera shots for interviews. The solution would be to use custom controls that set those sources on PGM and then either place it on a shotbox, or in the custom control area of rundown control, and then keymap them to your number keys. This will get you where you want to go.

This is exactly what we do here. We use custom controls that set the sources on PGM and then map it on a keyboard. That way, I switch with one hand while I look at my screens.
