Hello Ken,
You can use the auto-advance to automatically advance to the next shot in your rundown, by using a timing source.
One good example for auto-advance: I have a video server element, I can configure auto-advance to automatically take the next event when there is 2 seconds left to the video. (See the "autoadvanceexample" image for the configuration).
Another good use, could be to trigger automatically a CC when there is 5 seconds left. Maybe to remove the Graphics, or to open the microphone. For those examples, you would use Custom Controls (see the "autoadvanceexample2").
Hope this helps you understand the options this gives you!

Does anyone know what "Auto Advance" does in Rundown Control on Overdrive?
Cheers
