"Editor mode disabled" for Caprica using Sony MLS x1 switcher in Overdrive

    Hi there!

    I would like to know what "Editor mode disabled" refers to in Overdrive with Caprica...  We have multiple Control room all running Overdrive and Caprica with Sony MLS-X1 switchers.... 3 of them are running correctly (all green dots) but two of them have this error beside Caprica (yellow dot). when looking the "about" tab in Caprica the 3 control room that are working fine (all green dots) have the mention : switcher ready while the other two have the mention : Switcher connected. I can't find anything different in the switchers configuration that could cause this issue... Anyone have an idea?

    Hi Martin,

    The MLS-X1 appears to be missing a button, found on earlier Sony switchers, that enables edit control from OverDrive. Because OverDrive is not receiving any indication of this status, it is connected, but reporting it as an issue because of this "no response" status.

    It looks like there is a ticket open, and we will follow up there.
