  • 1.  Incremental Jackpot

    Hi,

    During a sport game, I retrieve the points coming from the score board using datalinq (XML). I use these points to feed a jackpot. At each new match the points are reset to zero but I want to keep the value of the jackpot when the points go back to zero. I'm actually doing this manually using a widget to save the points and add it to the score. I'm sure I can use a piece of script to do that.

    I someone can help.

    Without really understanding the data or when it resets and things like that I would say a hidden text object that you are constantly adding to would work ?

    This is what I'm doing right now, I just wanted to automate the process. The datas are just points and the reset is at every new game.

    Hi Roman,

    It's not working as expected. When I add 1 to the Widget Counter (Up) it counts all the way to 1073741824.

    What I want to do is to increase the widget a point at a time so this will also affect the Total and when I reset to Widget to 0 the Total remain at its last value then when I add new points to the widget the Total starts from the last saved value + new points

    Karim, you bon't need change the widget. You need change only text object. Reset the wigjet and try to use only text object.
