Yes, using switcher events.
In rundown control, go to window - preferences - switcher events. Using the drop-down menu, look for audio variables and select one of the functions. Assign that function a number, this is the number you will use in your custom control.
If using Caprica:
To create the custom control, look for overdrive, then look for switcher events. Type in the same number, insert.
If not using caprica, please respond with switcher type and version number.

Subject: OverDrive Custom Controls or Shotbox Addressing Audio Variables or Quick Audio
Hello,
Is there a way for either audio variables, or audio quick recalls, to be triggered by a ShotBox and or Custom Control?
(I'm only finding ways to address channels or audio memories which agian only address channels)
We have this setup for keyboard hotkeys, but would like to extend it to our shotbox.
OVD v. 22.3
Thanks,
Clint
