    Hello
I'm reaching out to everyone from Washington DC. I work in the United States Agency for Global Media. Our agency encompasses the following networks: Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, Office of Cuba Broadcasting, Radio Free Asia, and the Middle Eastern Networks.
We use ROSS OVERDRIVE for our television production. I used to work with CBS and local station, WUSA in Washington DC. We used SONY ELC and I was a super-user at my former network and station for a number of years. I am reaching out to see if anyone can point me the direction of further training. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

    Regards,

Scott, there are several great tutorials targeting the Ross line of switchers right here on this site. Les O'Reily knows his stuff. Or are you hoping for hands on training at the switcher with a trainer by your side?

Good day, Scott. The tutorials Malcolm mentioned are great, but deal mostly with production switcher operations and not OverDrive specifically.

I checked our database to see which specific products USAGM has, but only found a gateway license. That's probably because the actual  OverDrive components are attached to the specific divisions such as VOA, etc. and so wouldn't necessarily show up under the "umbrella" USAGM account. That being said, Ross does offer onsite OverDrive and switcher operational training. If you wish to discuss it further, please feel free to drop me a private message with your contact info. I can put you in touch with the regional sales manager for D.C. who would be able to provide more information and a quote.

    Thanks.
