I'm trying to setup xpression for operators who are often in a time crunch and I'd like to make it as painless as possible. Is it possible to have clips added to a group in a sequence to inherit the server channel/frame buffer from the group?

Here's an image that might better explain. The white bar with the crawling ticker needs to move down on the y axis so it disappears behind the gray bar. This will be controlled by transition logic depending on a set rule. #XPression

I'm building a ticker for a lower third that needs to move on the y axis. Thanks to the helpful posts here I was able to get the masking to work but I haven't figured out to move the crawling ticker off the screen.
