Unplug and replug your usb. If it still doesn't work, try another usb port on the switcher. If still no success, copy your PNG files to another usb and try agin. It is probably the usb and not the port in my opinion. #Carbonite

Did you do a "forced" or soft upgrade? Forced being only the upgrade on a usb then repowering the switcher and allowing it to boot up off the upgrade usb. #Carbonite

Jake: Assuming you are using a mov or avi original file and you have checked to see if the Alpha lines up with the fill. Also, assuming you are not using fill on one channel and playing the alpha on another, and if you are, then you have the two lined up. A "cheat" work around would ...

Thanks Les, basically the same as using the Expression. I use the dashboard after making the first CC then copy to another CC location. Then I change the the clip id, from what you said I will be able to do the same when using the Tria. Should I 'eject the clip' after it plays as I do with Expression? ...

IMO you should turn off the Carbonite, at least from time to time, after all it is a PC platform. Sounds like you have a monitor issue, if not a PC issue. Have you flipped the monitors --- Monitor 1 to Monitor 2 and vis versa? If so, does the loss of the monitor feed stay with the new monitor ...

I tried building a CC that nested recalling multiple CCs that had media players attached to them long ago. I found that it was more reliable to just fire each CC independently to insure the effect was loaded properly. If you don't put a pause / hold into the master recall after recalling each CC needed ...

You could make custom controls... 1. Take Input 6 and turn key 1 OFF 2. Take Inputs other than 6 and turn key 1 ON I would build each custom control above the input it is controlling ---- another way would be; Make a custom to take input 6 and turn key 1 off, then add the dialogue ...
