If you are not using transtion logic, just make sure you have 1 scene director and that scene director is set as default. You can check it is default right-clicking and set as default. That scene director will play each time the scene is played. Are you trying to use transition logic or is this ...

If you are using transition logic you need an in and out only, the pause is handled by XPression. You'll also need an empty scene director to be your default. These videos explain how to get started. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8h_qRYtICQw&t=6s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8xzn8yGioY ...

You are correct to use event markers, you can put one at the end of your scene, and just put mode to pause and it will hold at the end. You can then use VB script or visual logic to trigger a fade. Does that make sense or would you like a sample scene? #XPression

It takes a bit of work with visual logic or script as you must calculate the delta. Have you ever done anything like that before, I may be able to find you a scene that will get you started. #XPression

It's not exactly what you want but what I have done before is have 2 text boxes, one connected to the live data and one not. When I want to disconnect I copy the current stat of the live data to the hidden text field and then flip the visibility of the 2 objects. When I want to go back to live I just ...

Hey, The first video is using XML. I would check out the 5 different datalinq videos on the XPression U, especially the ones regarding datalinq keys. #XPression

Since I assume you are scripting from something like dashboard there isn't exactly that but you can use TCB and enter values (you'll need to figure out those values). #XPression

You could script to find any graphics on a particular layer i.e (5) move it to another framebuffer that you're not using, even a virtual framebuffer for example, then script to move it back to the online framebuffer however I would say the masking solution above makes more sense. The only upside to this ...

If you try to use the bounding box to control the word wrap you definitely end up in a loop. Not the prettiest idea but you could have a hidden text box that's published that would grow indefinitely and have that linked to a visible text box that you control the word-wrap sizes on and that way ...

Hey, There's a number of ways you can achieve this, here's a method to change colour using visual logic that will point you in the correct direction for exactly what you would like to do. https://support.rossvideo.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360040137311-change-color-with-visual-logic ...
