I think you have to use a temporary variable and a script in your main SceneDirector. With a data group in your sequencer, when your main SD is paused, you update your data (name of your next material), and when you resume the pause, your script will be executed. It takes your data, and update the quad ...

Hi ! You can put your Datalinq source in a text object (with no visibility) and get this text object to retrieve your data in your code... #XPression

It's really easy to do that. On your scenegroup (because your mask don't have to move), put your mask to a Z-Position, like 1. On your children scene, put your text object at 0 (ZPos) and change its Render Order Priority to Normal. And voilÁ ! #XPression

SetVolatileTextureFile is only for Texture Shader (png, tga, jpg...), not Video Shader. You have to get the material of movie01, then get its shader, then set its filename property. #XPression

Hi, I don't use too much datalinq with script, but maybe a scene.RefreshDatalinqs() could resolve your problem. #XPression

To do that, you need to create your own application that will drive Xpression with API. Too much possibility to do that in sequencer mode... #XPression
