On Dashboard Carbonite Panel page to control a Carbonite Solo, is it possible to select an Aux output and send PGM to it? There is currently no PGM button on the ME, MiniME1, or MiniME2 buses and the Aux buttons select from them. Also, can you change the input select buttons to different sources on the ...

It apparently doesn't work well with OpenGear either. If I create a blank Panelbuilder, I cannot drag in any of my opengear frames or cards either. What I'd really like to do is have the green connected circle that appears in view control on a custom panel to see that my switcher is in fact connected. ...

When I try to add a device summary or editor to a custom panel, it doesn't work. By following the instructions below from the manual, I am not getting a dialog box to appear in step 3. Instead, the device opens in full screen mode. I am using Dashboard 8.1.1 on a mac. Thoughts? To add a device editor ...

In a Custom Viewcontrol Panel, there are bus select buttons underneath the Multiviewer windows so you can select whether you are changing ME Preset, ME Program, MiniME 1 PGM etc. Can I create a similar button that allows me to change what is being fed to an AUX output? Also, can I then select ME Program ...

Is there a way to make a custom Multiviewer layout on the Solo? I would like to move the boxes around from the ViewControl Multiviewer layouts. Thanks, Jeff

Good afternoon, Les, That makes sense -- I was thinking of the Vision Octane here at the station, which does use TCP/IP for the panel. Given my church's application, I think we probably would do better to use two Crossover 16s with the program out of the first showing up as a source for the second. ...

The brochure for the Carbonite states that the single-MLE panels can address either MLE in the frame. Does this mean that someone could run two single-MLE panels with a single frame, so that one panel controls MLE 1 and the other controls MLE 2? That would be a really good solution for a project I'm ...

Thanks -- I was pretty sure all of the Crossovers were alike in that respect, but that "layout is configured independently" line made me wonder. -- Jeff #CrossOver

I'm looking at the manual for the Crossover 16, version 4.0; on page 2-7. I see that a multiviewer may switched to either Pgm2 or Prview outputs; that makes sense. The note on the right side of the page says, "the MultiViewer layout is configured independently for each output". Does this mean ...

Ahhh... sounds like you're using something like the TLP504A-2's that I build into most of my interfaces. That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. Thanks for the information! -- Jeff #NK

According to the manual, the GPI outputs are active low; the illustration shows a load of an LED and resistor being pulled to ground. The issue is this: I need to combine several tally outputs to indicate when a particular source is switched to either of two destinations. How the GPI output circuit ...
