Hi there, The ogScript documentation cites a function called "getCurrentUser" which is supposed to retrieve either the machine name or the user login name depending or not on whether the User Rights Management Server is found. We don't have such a system present in our environment, but on a Windows ...

Hi there, following back up on this request. It would be super nice to be able to show a quick throw-down generic alert message to a user without having to build it into canvas UI elements... I can get dangerously close to the desired behavior using a Web Browser widget calling the javascript:alert() ...

I had the same experience as described by Brandon. If it could be placed on the project roadmap for DashBoard to support the Microsoft Edge WebView runtime natively - instead of IE - I think that would be extremely helpful going forward. We have some internal tools that use the new WebSockets features ...

Hello, I wanted to post a suggestion for a future release of DashBoard regarding an autoformatting feature for ogScript code within the code editor. Right now, if I paste code I have to use a separate code formatting tool to re-indent based on the curly braces. IDEs like Visual Studio offer code ...

Hi Les, Thanks for the suggestion. I would be curious to see how the fader linking works. Wednesday of next week would be a good time to do a remote session. I appreciate the help/ideas. #Graphite #Graphite #Graphite #Graphite

Well, I only mentioned Overdrive in reference to the fact we have two independent production environments, one using Overdrive for regular broadcasts, and one using Graphite for streaming and other needs. Graphite is fed with raw feed sources only, and we wouldn't send the audio from one environment ...

For example, if we have a live shot of a reporter on-scene broadcasting with Graphite, the left channel might contain their audio track and the right channel could be a bed of nats sound (to be used to assist editors in re-editing the package later), Or, in the case two interviewees are on-camera holding ...

Hi Les, Thanks for the reply. I suppose this means the hardware is not designed to do this, and this wouldn't be coming in a future software update ever? Another technical support tech mentioned some months ago that two assignable mono faders method, but I figured I'd see if doing it a simpler ...

On page 48 of the Graphite Operation Manual, it describes three choices for the Audio channel layout. The options are written as follows: Click the Audio Source button and click the stream pair that you want to use. • Stereo — select the stereo pair that you want to use. • Mono Left — The left ...

It would be really great to be able to show messages to the user from within the DashBoard UI when necessary. Could it be worked out to write some code like this... ogscript.alert('Hello world'); Which would then show an alert box with "Hello world"? I already make use of the ogscript.debug() ...
