I see Ross has announced NDI support for Expression. I am trying to figure out if I can control my expression via a Rest API or if I can have my NewTek IP series switcher send Ross Talk commands? Any information would be helpful.

HI Les, The great thing about 3Play is that it plays back a ton of different file formats natively. I use DVCPRO HD from my Blackstorm all the time with no Transcoding.

I would just use the file copy feature, no reason to add a layer with FTP. I guess it depends on the Operator and sport whether or not it would be easier.

If you have a 3Play 4800 you can use the publish tools to do a file copy across the network.
