Since this is more an MC1 question, I think you should post it in the Signal Processing community. I think the people there would be more likely to know how to fix this. Signal Processing Ben ------------------------------ Ben Gatien Ross Video ------------------------------

If you want to use widgets with your custom panels on Ultritouch and keep them as external files, bundle your panel and any widget descriptors in a 'widgets' subfolder. Zip the whole thing and upload the zip instead of the individual .grid file. This will put the widget descriptors, grids, and any graphical ...

I asked someone on the switcher team, since I don't know much about TSL data. He responded with: Well you don't "Pull it".. The TSL Protocol can be setup to send it out .. And all of the TSL Mapping is in our manuals. http://help.rossvideo.com/carbonite-device-db/Topics/Devices/UMD/TSL ...

I've never used "Fixed Length" delimiters, and it seems a little odd that each one is just 1 byte long. But I guess it's possible if you're just sending one byte messages. Although your ogscript code seems to expect multiple bytes. I typically use the "New Line" delimiter, and make sure that all ...

You can create panels that trigger things at specific times. Here is a panel that runs a task at a specific time later in the day: function runTask() ( var date = new Date(); ogscript.rename("message", "task triggered on " + date); ) var date ...

I know of a couple of developers who moved to Windows 11, and it seems to work fine for them. The DashBoard team does all the testing for DashBoard on Windows 10 at the current time. So Windows 11 is not yet officially supported by DashBoard. ------------------------------ Ben Gatien Ross Video ...

As you know, you can change the constraints of a parameter. At the bottom of this post is a panel that shows examples of changing constraints on different types of parameters. Take a look at that, and if you still can't figure it out, let me know and I'll see if I can figure out how to do it with your ...

You might be able to use the "connectTo" method to change the host and port at connection time. When I did this, the second debug listed the port as 7788. ------------------------------ Ben Gatien Ross Video ------------------------------

I don't think the putObject/putString ever changes the underlying code. It's just meant to be temporary memory. If you refresh the panel, the original values are restored. Those methods are really for non-persistent data. If you need something that changes values and keeps those changes, that's where ...

Hi Aleksander, I'm not sure I understand the issue. I tried your small example, and it does what I expect: Before the put, the ip is null, after it is 8899. You do have spaces on either side of the XPression.port in your code. That may be messing with what you think you are doing. ...

You can't access the widget parameters directly in your panel (with setParam or getParam) You have to get the parameters from the widgets, and then you can set/get them. Do something like this: var widget =ogscript.getComponentsById( 'mywidgetid' )[0]; var param = widget.getConfigParam('myWidgetParam', ...

I see what is happening. ogscript.rename will rename all the elements with that name to what you want, no matter where in the panel they are. There's a couple of easy ways to fix this: 1. call the label .R_VALUE, .B_VALUE and .G_VALUE (notice the periods before the names). That tells DB to only ...
