Hi All, I have something odd happening on a Custom Panel I'm writing. I'm sending a TCP byte message to some kit and based upon the response, performing actions in my panel. The issue i'm seeing is that although I can see the response in Wireshark to a message I send, I can't get my listener ...

Hi, me again, I have a JSON array that I'm trying to import to a Struct Array that for life of me I cannot get to load into Dashboard. It will load other JSON arrays even though several online JSON checkers tell me the array is ok, Dashboard won't bring it into a struct array. Using this code ...

Hi James, Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I can't guarantee that the @ character won't be in a password so calling a separate function for that. But good to know for future reference! I've been trying the JSON object previously and couldn't make it work. Using httpbin.org/get, I can see ...

Hi All, Could someone help me out? I've searched the board and found a few posts relating a HTTP Post using headers but I just can't make it work with a GET. I need to send an HTTP Get with an authorization header for a web API. Here's my code: var requestURL = "https://app.singular.li ...

Hi Alex, Thanks so much! This has worked perfectly. I've added a .toString(16) to the data and its now giving me the Hex values in the debug. Thanks again! #DashBoard

Hey Alex, That's interesting as I'm seeing just a timestamp as the response variable output using your suggested code. Payload doesn't need to be ascii, just hex. I've set the Listener Delimiter to Bytes and a fixed length of 65. This is consistent for the entire packet on all of my response ...

Hi Alex, Thanks very much for the response! Your code seems to indeed convert the ID's into bytes (I see the output of "response" as squares when I do a debug on it. I presume somehow I'd need to convert these bytes again to get a string value? I'm familiar with the event.getBytesAsString ...

Hey All, Wondering if someone can help me out? I'm currently trying receive TCP Payload Data in Dashboard. Its 11 Bytes long consistently. Using the event.getBytesAsString() command doesn't give me any data but event.getBytes() does. My issue is, is that the Bytes are displayed as [B@ values. ...

Hi Ben, Hope you had a good weekend. Yep, that is exactly what I want to accomplish and the way you suggest makes complete sense. Just one question regarding the "incomingmessage" part of the IF statement. Presuming this will be my incoming string, can it be chopped down to just include ...

Ah cool, that's what I have set up at the moment. Would writing a value to the parameter count as a change? I suppose it would. Which means I have a loop of comms blasting my panel. My aim is to be able to adjust the fader on the screen but also have it read back, so if the mixer levels are ...

Thanks Ben, I tweaked in a parameter value read and write and it works great. Now looking to cleanup my panel a little. I have a TCP sender configured to send a string to my mixer based on a parameter for the fader value. How would I get this to only send when this parameter changes? I guess ...

Hi, I'm working on a Panel to control a Yamaha Mixer via their SCP Protocol. I can fire TCP strings at the mixer and control it just fine, based off a fader widget and range constraint parameter. I can also receive the current value of the fader from the mixer into a parameter on Dashboard ...

Hi, I'm creating a Custom Panel in Dashboard to act as a Multiviewer Routing Page. Ideally what I'd like to do for Source Selection is to mimic the way the Group Category Soft Panel behaves. Dragging across elements from a Group Category Soft Panel doesn't seem to work. Any one know of ...

Hi, Apologies if this has been answered before but I can't find any posts that seem to be address my specific needs. I'm trying to create a Custom Panel to control what Demuxed Sources an Ultrix Router will route into a 64Ch Madi output. I've managed to extract the Sources and Destinations ...
