We have this same problem. The Ultritouch does not reference the NTP settings set on the Ultrix. It is only referencing the internal clock of the Ultritouch, which is what Stewart is asking. ------------------------------ Mike Forbes MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY ----------------- ...

We had the issue as well. It's a framerate issue. You're files need to be rendered at the framerate in which the XPression is set to output. In our case, we were outputting 720p 59.94, and some of our students were bringing in files at 29.97 frames per second, thus playing back twice as fast because ...

We are going to try the null modem point you made, but the converter we have is very similar. We'll follow up with the results. Thanks! #XPression

Hey Everyone- We are finally getting around to setting up our Sony MVS 8000G to do Pbus triggering to the XPression. We have purchased an RS-422 to RS-232 powered converter. For whatever reason, we cannot get this to work. Does anyone else have the set up already? If so, could you share how you ...

We use visual logic to monitor the data coming in. I've noticed that ESPN does their scoring changes by rotating the numbers. Pretty fancy, but we haven't figured out how to do that yet. Visual logic is fairly simple to learn, it's just wrapping your mind around all the animated elements in a scene that ...

"[QUOTE]based on that difference you can trigger your effect and then subsequently copy the value from the invisible linked object to the visible static text." Rookie question, but how do you link text objects to copy each other? #XPression

Thank you sir for your help- and it's nice to know there actually is an Andrew Sampson, a name that I seem to find all over everything Ross/XPression comes up with :) Mike Forbes Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro, TN #XPression

Brian- I had to tweak a little, but I think we got it working in Visual Logic through trial and error. On another question, is there a way for XPression to Monitor the datalinq data coming into the system. For example, we want a graphic to fly in every time there is a three pointer made ...

Jeff, we downloaded a free piece of software called "FullSync" which will keep the local files on the XPression desktop in sync with the files uploaded to the FTP Site. You can set the sync intervals to a little as 1 second, and it will put the file on the desktop. We've tested it and it seems to work ...

Nick & Jeff- We just conquered this task last week and are still testing with StatCrew. We had the StatCrew computer upload to our FTP site off campus, then set a network location on the XPression to that FTP Site to pull the data. It does seem to auto update, but I know that our athletic department ...

Hello everyone- First, thanks to everyone that passes their knowledge onto this forum- we are fairly new with XPression and are teaching our students as we learn ourselves. We have an upcoming basketball game that the students have been tasked to build graphics for, but have asked a question in ...
