The best way to go about this is by using the same RecallID for the Clip. If your new clip uses the same RecallID as the old, it will automatically replace it when linking to the clip either by Dynamic Materials or if you hold CTRL when dragging the clip from your clipstore to a quad. ----------- ...

Based on my experience with their Soccer feeds, STATS Perform has a URL that you can try pulling with the RSS datalinq option. The only caveat I remember when setting it up though is that in the URL, you will need to add your login credentials (provided by STATS Perform) into the URL. ----------- ...

In your datalinq query, you will want to replace the row number with what is essentially a qualifier. For possession percentage as an example you'll want your datalinq query to be liveData\lineUp\teamStats\stat . This will then search the data feed for the first row that uses possessionPercentage as ...

You'll want to do an OnSetText script on your text object that is Datalinq'd to your Dashboard. Script would be something like this: dim mat as xpMaterial dim obj as xpBaseObject 'text refers to the new text value sent via datalinq. Text needs to be the same name as Material you want engine ...

Just based off of this screengrab, it doesn't look like you have any animations setup to take the previous text off. If you're going to use B2B logic, you have to have scene directors that get rid of the previous text and bring on the new text in the way you want them to. These would then be the scene ...

Hi João, Following up on the sequencer preview question. When you're using this Dashboard, do you have the XPression sequencer also up on a different monitor/window? If you want to focus the blue line on the item you just took to air, rather than sending a "TAKE" RossTalk command, you can always do ...

Use the boundingbox.widthscaled visual logic blocks. These will take into account the auto squeeze. #XPression

I would recommend you just turn live updates off on the datalinqs and just have the scene update on a scene by scene basis. You're likely going to be switching between different categories a lot so it's just cleaner and easier to have it update each time you take the scene to air rather than having things ...

Honestly if you're just trying to pull a file path based off a player's name, I would just set that up in your excel sheet so you don't have to worry about any scripting on the XPression side. You're just datalinqing to the image path. #XPression

Ross sells a system that has the ability to do this, Ross XPression Incoder. You basically set up watchfolders that you drop content to to be transcoded to the XPression codec and it'll output it directly to your XPression clip store. I do believe there is also a setup you can do in After Effects and ...

In the window that you create an OG script command such as taking a graphic to air, there is another tab under OG Script called Pause. This is where you'd do this at. You can set it to be to any duration. #DashBoard

I'm not sure if video is completely supported yet thru inception, but I do remember seeing that their next version will have file links to videos that are already converted into the XPression Video Codec. #XPression

Never mind James, realized I could get this working just by using the OGscript Visual Logic blocks for my two parameters. It works now and streams correctly. Thank you! #DashBoard

Hi James, I'm just getting around to this and for some reason, the copy task isn't working properly. I'm able to change the constraint value on the real parameter, but in datalinq, my copy param isn't showing that it is updating. Instead, it just remains on the initial value I typed into it. ...

Hi All, I have a data dashboard that we are using to select which stat categories we'd like to display for graphics. So for our operators, I've built dropdown lists connected to parameters that use a string for its value and its constraint. It works all well and good in dashboard, anytime we choose ...

Don't know if the version you are working with has this ability, but there is a visible logic option for text called WordWrap -> Enabled. You could essentially compare the bounding box width of the text (not scaled) with a pre-determined value for width that would decide whether to enable word wrap or ...
