Another way of doing it would be to create different scenes - outline & a scene for each base with each scene on a different layer, same framebuffer, put them in a group to make it look tidy then all that would have to happen is take each scene on/off to suit. ------------------------------ Jos Ford ...

When you say online, where is the text file saved? In datalinq you can chose to access a network drive when you browse for the file name. ------------------------------ Jos Ford Ross Video ------------------------------

There are several ways you can do it, you could try this visual logic Make the Index text field not visible and give each team a value from 1-6. Set each of the team colors. Then on game day all you have to do is enter the number and the font color will change. Just make sure that you aren't using ...

The other question, do you want the XPression Timer Widget to be controlled by DashBoard or do you have datalinq and want to use a DashBoard Timer sending data to XPression? ------------------------------ Jos Ford Ross Video ------------------------------

Hey Bruna, The READ command will take whatever is in focus but I'd suggest two buttons so one to set focus and then one to take. Set focus is: rosstalk.sendMessage ('Your_XPN_IPAddress', 7788, "FOCUS " + "value"); this moves the focus bar to the take id and will show it in the preview window but ...

If you're wanting to change the bus map - open the soft panel and from the navigation menu (at the right above the fader) chose the Personality menu. There will be a bus map node which will be a satellite panel (probably 3) and you can set it from there (or use the menu display > config > bus map to ...

Hey Bruna Think of them as completely separate panels so you can't change the bus maps at the same time. (so the virtual panel is a satellite panel). BUT depending on which Carbonite you have and which version of software you're running you can bus map in DashBoard from the Personality node which ...

Hey Ian, check that the custom control you have built isn't recalling a different media ID (or any media store). I'm not sure about the green line as it's not something I've ever seen, someone wiser than me will be able to comment. ------------------------------ Jos Ford Ross Video ---------- ...

Ben, these are seriously great references! I know how much work you put into them. Definitely worth downloading and learning from. ------------------------------ Jos Ford Ross Video ------------------------------

You could also use the BUSES (Bus Assignments) menu from Live Assist if you have access to DashBoard. ------------------------------ Jos Ford Ross Video ------------------------------

Hi Bibek, what exactly are you trying to do, centre your text in the middle of the screen or in the middle of a quad? The post you have commented on is 2012, XPression has come a long way since then. It also depends which edition of XPression you have whether or not you have scripting. You could try ...

Do the memories recalls have anything that takes "time' in them? Can you post a pic of the CC event list, maybe we can see something? #Carbonite

A very wise person told me to make sure that I only store the attributes that I want to recall and then always recall in Memory mode. #Carbonite

Hey Michael, once you've got a USB drive in the frame you can FTP into it to update stills and manage the names of your switcher sets which saves having to get the USB drive from the frame.. (I use either file explorer or Filezilla). #Carbonite

It may not be exactly what you are wanting to do but if you're using a Carbonite switcher you could set up View Control which can be accessed through Dashboard. It would also give you easy access to Custom Controls. #DashBoard

It's exactly the same for all Carbonites, you get the same soft panel, and buttons to access all ME & MiniMEs. Operationally the only got-ya can be not making sure you are operating the correct bus or keyer (but again that 's the same as the solo). #Carbonite

Tim, The Soft Panel is the last tab on the Carbonite Dashboard menu tree. If it suits your operation better you can easily create a custom Dashboard Panel by drag and dropping https://www.rossvideo.com/gallery/create-custom-panels-using-drag-drop/ #Carbonite

A media wipe will go to whatever source you have on preview and transition whatever you have selected - background, keyers. I'm assuming that you have built a CC to run the media wipe, have you got A/B bus selections? Also check that if you have any commands after the auto trans you have pause that ...
