Hi Boris, The Extra PiP size is only available when inputs come from an HDX or MODX blade. If you have an FR 1 or 2 with the integrated "MIO" boards or any other I/O card such as an HDB-IO-A then you don't get PiP C. The invalid Size message is likely because that source is coming from an input ...

Here is what i would do now that i understand this a bit better and knowing this is a pre-production workflow. In XPression I would select all the sequence items i need for the show and the export them as images. In export to images select "Single Frame." Select the target folder to export all ...

Hi Danny, I'm not sure of your end goal here. but for a quick XPression graphic > Carbonite i recommend using the Rosslinq feature. Rosslinq allows you to set up a channel in XPression to directly FTP a graphic to a Carbonite still store. you just set this up under Edit > Hardware, add it to the channel ...

Once you setup a split ME they change names from Utility 1/2 to Program B and Preset B in the auto follow menu. However, other places in the menu system they may still show up as U1 / U2 Unfortunately i'm not an OVD expert so if there are any limitations with OVD and this workflow, i'm not aware of ...

Yes, however, i would be sure to set both PGM ME PGM A (Echo From) > PGM ME PGM B (Echo To) and then do the same for the preset buses. I would also select PGM A / B.in the transition area to make sure everything transitions properly. *This is assuming you have split ME Mode setup ------------- ...

Hi Philip, What you are trying to do requires bus follows, the way we do bus follows in Acuity with source substitutions is by creating different bus maps and assigning them to the corresponding buses. The way we do bus follows (Auto follows as we call them) is by having panel buttons follow each other ...

Hi Steve, Our Camera Motion team has been working hard at adding Cameras into their RRB-CTL-PTZ Dashboard plugin where one of the functions is to translate PTZ camera protocols to the Serial Visca Protocol (over IP) that Carbonite requires to control PTZ cameras. However, the AW UE70 PTZ has not yet ...

You need to go to your recall settings and tell the media store to not recall. you can do this by hitting ME1 or ME 2 recall hitting next and scrolling down to media stores. or in Dashboard via Live assist, memory, recall on the general tab. #Carbonite

When you create a new custom panel you can select "External XML Data Source Panel" and this will create an XML file for the data. This is what Dashboard then pulls from too and must be in the same file path as the dashboard file. #DashBoard

This is pretty easy to do. In Dashboard, Edit your button and there is a Trigger ID. Give this a number. Then go to Window > Preferences > Keyboard shortcuts. Click new Command, Click fire GPI, set your short cut and when you want this to be active, then put in the GPI number (your trigger ID) and it ...

The short answer is that v10 will work. However I would upgrade to v12 as there is a new option for the background to change how it uses DVE's. In past software version if you were using the MiniME's for UHD then it would set 4 DVE's for the background all the time, but in 12 you can turn it off or make ...

This is a sign you don't have an Nvidia graphics card. Xpression requires Nvidia specifically as part of it's render engine. #XPression

Hey Marc, If you create your own custom panel inside of dashboard to fire your custom controls you can assign gpi triggers to each button. Then you can go to preferences and assign keyboard shortcuts to the gpi triggers assigned to your buttons. #Carbonite

Then you could do a resume command on that layer. This will resume whatever animation you have paused to continue (such as animate off). Another trick is to create a blank scene on that layer that has a dissolve in transition and just call that up. It works best to go to Scene director and do a take ...

Hey David, Xpression works in layers, so rather than taking off specific ID's, you can clear a specific layer, clearing whatever graphic you have on that layer. So build all your graphics to go on a specific layer such as layer 0, then set your transitions to layer 5, and your bug to layer 10 ...

Marc, One idea I had is to build 3 Customs: 1st- The actual custom you want to trigger with the GPI but make the first command a Hold and the last command a loop 2nd- A CC that just resumes the first CC and attach the GPI to this one 3rd- A CC that Cancels the first CC (a ...

Stefan, Any Blank CC will stop all running CC's. Also in the CC- insert menu you can add commands to 'cancel all' or cancel a specific CC. The CC-insert menu comes up in the menu as soon as you start recording, scroll down to get to the cancel functions. #Carbonite
