Hey Evan - I don't have an answer about your Tally question, but as far as your "memory intensive" comment, have you tried giving Dashboard access to additional memory? Window > Preferences > General > Memory Allocation ------------------------------ Bo Cordle Rocket Surgery Charleston, ...

Hey David- This is what you're looking for... // rosstalk.sendAsBytes(tvIP, defaultPort, command, callback); // This will turn off the tv. Replace "XX" with the TV's Control ID, converted to Hex. rosstalk.sendAsBytes("XX.XX.XX.XX", 5009, "51 42 54 4d f5 8a XX fe fe 00", null); The longer ...

Hey Shamil - A few ways to think about this... 1- If your switcher is a Ross switcher or some other switcher that can receive network triggers like Rosstalk, then you wouldn't need any external hardware and your Dashboard can send a simple TCP/IP command to do what you want. 2- If you want to use the ...

I don't have anything to add to the kerning discussion, but this may be related. This is a technique I've used to expose the "autosqueeze max width" parameter in sequencer, which can sometimes be helpful... [see attached photo] ------------------------------ Bo Cordle Rocket Surgery Charleston, ...

Hey Bob- Reconfiguring the Matrox card to be 6in/2out isn't hard, but it involves some command line trickery. Drop Tech Support a note and they should be able to give you the instructions you need. Bo ------------------------------ Bo Cordle Rocket Surgery Charleston, SC - ...

Take a look at this panel and see if it helps. Copy the code below into a new custom panel... /*! block id=1000 !*/ ogscript.setStyle("TriggersXpression", "bg#red"); /*!! !!*/ /*!! 2b575a14c842a15a867195bd1d2fa6a4 !!*/ /*! block id=1001 !*/ ogscript.set ...

First you'll need to setup your outgoing IP & Port in GPI board in "Edit>Hardware Setup...>GPI/Tally Boards"... Then, within your scene director Rosstalk trigger, it would simply look like this... ------------------------------ Bo Cordle Rocket Surgery Charleston, SC ---- ...

Hey Tamer - This should be fairly straightforward to setup. The simplest way to do this is to have XPN send a GPI back to Dashboard. A few things to do to make this work... 1a- In Dashboard: "Window>Preferences>Rosstalk GPI Listener" - Enable and set to a port not being used. I like 7790 since it's ...

Hey James - A couple of initial thoughts w/ few ways this could be handled… 1- MC Dashboard publishes the parameter so XPression can read it via Datalinq. CR sends a Rosstalk message that fires an XPN script which reads that parameter and takes the correct scene online. 2- Use Parameter Streaming ...

Not sure if it helps, but I have a lot of text objects that change color based on the Home or Away team's color swatch. For these, I'll use a global material called A_Text_Col_1 or H_Text_Col_1, then assign that material to the face of all the text objects that need it. ------------------------------ ...

Hey Paulo- In the "Keyboard/GPI Mapping" area, you should be able to drag a "Script Action" into the Project Shortcuts. Then, you'll edit the script action (Sub OnKeyPress) to do something like this... Option 1, if you always want to play a scene director from a particular scene: dim ...

Hey Zach- I believe there was an issue with StreamDeck software beginning in v4.6.1 that was fixed with xpnStreamDeck plugin 9.7. So, first I'd try upgrading the xpnStreamDeck plugin. Otherwise you can try downgrading Streamdeck itself to v4.5 #XPression

Hey Dave- I haven't tried sending rosstalk with Arduino yet, but I've had success with Raspberry Pi. It's a fairly basic UDP command, so it should be do-able. Can you explain a little more about the details of what you're trying to do? #Carbonite

I would start by setting up a Datalinq source to listen to the Allsport data on whatever UDP port it's being sent on. Likely port 21000 or 21321 or similar. Otherwise, I believe you can log into the Lantronics box and add IPs/Ports to send the data to. #XPression

Yep...Allsport CG data should be the same as I'm describing. In the Datalinq connection for Dak Baseball data, you'll find "Inning Label #1" thru "Inning Label #12". Same with home/visitor score. They don't necessarily correspond to the actual inning number, as the Dak controller automatically makes ...
