Hi Chad, Visual Logic does not have a way to loop through a bunch of cells in a database, so this has to be set up manually. If you look at the attached scene you will see that I have used a String Compare for 50 DataLinq cells in the spreadsheet you provided. I am them multiplying each result by ...

In this case, you would need to set a keyframe on the Anim Controller that would turn on the eyeball (visibility) for the event marker. Rob ------------------------------ Rob Blank Ross Video ------------------------------

Hi Tina, Roma is correct, this is pretty easy to do with a script, but if you are more comfortable with Visual Logic, you can get the same result. The Round Function will only round to the nearest whole number so you will not be using it for this. The first step would be to isolate the decimal. ...

I am of the same opinion. PNG is my favorite format for image files. Uses transparency as alpha, very light degradation on image quality and small file size. #XPression

Hi Willie. In Visual Logic, you can use the face property of an object (in the Faces section of the objects properties) and apply the texture that object is using to the face of another object. When the Published texture of one object changes the other will as well. #XPression

Hi again. I am still not able to duplicate this, but I am now seeing what you are talking about with the f12 activating the show/hide continuous animation and other effects. What font are you using? #XPression

Hi there. The effects can sometimes give unexpected results. They also add to your performance on output. If you are needing just a simple drop, I would point you toward building an image in Photoshop that fades out the alpha towards the outside edges. In the Material Manager, make this diffuse color ...

Hi there. I can take a look at this if you'd like. Can you export the scene into a package and send it to me? My e-mail is rmann@rossvideo.com. #XPression

Hi there. I have not been able to duplicate this on my system. I am confused about the f12 button for continuous animation. Is this a hot key that you set up? By default, the f12 button is to change the active viewport. Do you get the same result if you go to the continuous animation tab and click the ...

Because the widget is in another scene, it is not truly online. You may need to set up a hot key for the widget (Ctrl+0), take the scene and then hit the hot key for the counter. Another thought that may or may not work (I haven't tested it), would be to set up your hot key for the Widget and under your ...
