I have a sports ticker that we update through a separate program that sends a text file that we have uploaded in Datalinq. When taken online the ticker goes through each row after a few seconds, when it gets taken offline it resets back to the first row. I'm wondering if there's a way to make the ...

I may be wrong in what you're asking but if you use the same graphics for each show and just want an easier way to switch the anchor names you can try using Widgets. You can even use a widget with a tiny bit of scripting to select which hour block video to play. Before each show you just use the widgets ...

This can be done easily with the Input Selector in Visual Logic. The Visible node will show 0 (quad is hidden) or 1 (quad is visible), connect this to the Index of the Input Selector node to have it select which value to use for the Output. As for changing the bounding box for the text, you'll want to ...

Scripting is probably the way to go, although I don't know what it would be (don't know much scripting either). I was curious however, and tried building something in Visual Logic and kind of got something going. The attached project is set to 30 frames/sec so you may need to adjust some numbers ...

Do you mean that you're changing the team logos on each quad corresponding to the teams? If so this is how I have my standings graphic set up. I have all the team logos as materials and named them as the team's name. Then I named the quads where the logos go as Team Logo 1, Team Logo 2, and so on. ...

Have you pressed the "Test Connection" button on the Datalinq configuration to see if data is coming through? Also make sure you have you have the Share Workbook checkbox checked. ------------------------------ Omar Reyes ------------------------------

You can simply change the text alignment, by default it will be left aligned. Select the text object, then go to Tabs & Options, then in the Tabs section at the top in the Alignment column it will say Left. Click on that to change it to Center. ------------------------------ ...

That's just a text object I renamed. You can see the project in the project file I attached previously. Here's how to link the text object to datalinq: ------------------------------ Omar Reyes ------------------------------

The way I would do it on visual logic is to use an Input Selector. Use String Compare node to compare the Indicator text object to a String Value node which has * as the value. So when the text has * it will turn on the String Compare node and will output a 1. Connect this to the Input Selector ...

I'm having trouble getting the Dynamic Material to work on a quad using Datalinq. For our sports projects we have individual player photos and I want to make a graphic that will grab the name of a specific photo and apply it to the quad. I have a text object Name and in the Dynamic Material setting ...
