There is something that has ME 1 and ME 2 with the B side enabled. Its not in Personality (what that setting is for is to split the row in half when using Split MEs or leave the row fully on one side and then switch between them) Look in the ME SEL menu with your Programmable outputs which will show ...

It does not apply correction if they match .. the issue here is going to be that without the Proc Amp and CC licenses you also dont get the fields there to set what the incoming video signal is.. What version are you running ?? -- can be found on the status page. ------------------------------ Les ...

First step you are doing is correct -- you need to identify which format the "system" is running in Then you need to identify what the incoming video sources are running in (this is how it knows when to use the PA/CC to do conversions as needed) As there is no "output" processing in ultrix carbonite ...

1 - Yes All Carbonite Switchers have "Custom Controls" which can also be referred to as Macros. - Here is a link to the manual section that explains custom controls -- https://help.rossvideo.com/ultra-60/Topics/Operation/CustomControls/CustomControls.html - Here is a link to one of our carbonite ...

What would be better is to setup a Carbonite Sim and then you will be able to have a fully functioning offline tool. Then once you go to connect you just change the Data source to point to the newly active real switcher frame. https://rossvideo.community/viewdocument/carbonite-ultrasim-v94 --- ...

The Global listener only Parses on the GPI command. GPI is "General Purpose Interface" and was common on many devices (and kind of still is the basics if you do arduino / ESP32 projects as well) When the RossTalk protocol was made with lots of commands -- the GPI command simulated this ability to just ...

No that is not possible. You are forcing that name by selecting the TSL UMD ID and setting it to use the Name. That is what is telling the switcher to use that name on the panel. We can Add this to Feature Requests List ------------------------------ Les O'Reilly Director, Switcher Product Management ...

I am not suggesting it is wrong to do it the way you did -- it's infact a way to ensure that "multiple" things don't run from the Global. Running a local listener allows you to create a different port and "connection" for each panel. The Global Listener is just there for convenience and will pass GPI ...

Example as I guess if I keep the capture small it looks okay... I have rosstalk sending out GPI PGMME1 as the value from that button. And the one bellow now has that as the trigger id and they work. For sure the issue with the value is not DashBoards limit to a character set. And the internal listeners ...

Hopefully that stay readable -- I made two buttons to send two different CCs to my switcher I then gave them GPI 1001 and GPI 1002 I then Made two Buttons above that send RossTalk to the Global listener that I setup on 7791 and those buttons just send GPI 1001 or GPI 1002 pressing the RT buttons ...

I will next time I guess just put it in a Word doc and post that ... I did not realize that the posts were compressing the images and that you could not click on them to make them bigger. FYI - you are doing something different then what I last posted if you needed to turn on the internal listener - ...

Okay New plan... Let's just make it all in visual Logic and our own buttons instead of dragging the file set buttons and trying to attach to them. I have kept the entire File Set interface (but only to make it easy to find the "values" of the constraint to pass for the Set I want to get access too. ...

okay so I figured out how to make it work. you can open the switcher Config Load Sets page in Carbonite and enable "edit mode" using CTRL+G Now in your custom panel also enable Edit Mode and then Drag the Button from Carbonite into the custom Panel: and it should look like this so make sure to include ...

You could build something like that and send RossTalk messages -- however the issue you can't get around is that the user will still have to press the Confirmation Pop up manually. ------------------------------ Les O'Reilly Director, Switcher Product Management -------------------------- ...

The Source on the BKGD Bus of the ME is what should be showing up on the output of the ME. There is a setting in the Config / System / Global for setting pass or Strip of Anc Data. Note any FSFC that is assigned to an input is going to Strip the ANC Data and that includes the CC. ---------- ...

First Lets put a new Panel. Then throw down a Basic Canvas which we can then be able to associate the data to the switcher when we pull something in Now put the Buses page into Panel Builder Mode so that you can Drag from it -- make sure you click back into the Carbonite UI first Now Let's grab the ...
