I am trying to figure out some Transition Logic and for the life of me I can't figure it out, even with the help of Ross University videos. I have a graphic that I am trying to trigger and take out with just one button in Dashboard (so I don't have to have different in/out buttons) I have two scene ...

Position your Text Objects onto your wheel with the proper angles/rotation on each, then make everything be a child of your wheel object. As Malcolm says, make sure you are using the type suffix, or you could do it via visual logic if you only have so many choices. You do mention updating on-air, I don't know if just me but I find that if you put the path as a dynamic material it won't update live, but just every time you take the ...

I don't know about Global constraints, but how I do it is that I have my roster in a StructTable and then I have a populate dropdowns function that takes the roster and populates it into however many dropdowns it needs to go into. ------------------------------ Jake Lew Access Communications Co-Operative ...

Hello, I took a brief look... I used this code to populate your number and name dropdowns: var number; var numberArray = new Array(); var name; var nameArray = new Array(); var length = params.getElementCount('params.teamList'); length = length -1; for (var i=0;i<=length;i++) ( ...

Awesome! Once again, I won't pretend to understand the code one hundred percent but it seems to work perfect! I should be able to adapt it to my needs! Thanks! ------------------------------ Jake Lew Access Communications Co-Operative Limited Regina Canada ------------------------------

Follow up question... would there happen to be a way to rename a file from Dashboard? That way I can ensure anything dropped in that folder gets formatted properly. ------------------------------ Jake Lew Access Communications Co-Operative Limited Regina Canada ----------------------------- ...

Hi, I am trying to make our standings graphic so that we can select two teams to highlight, who will then receive an outline around their line/group. How I have it is from Dashboard there are two numbers, one saying that for example team 1 should be highlighted and then another saying team ...

I also have that function in my project! Would go something like this: //Set Dropdown Selection var length = params.getElementCount('params.teamnames'); length = length -1; var nameArray = new Array(); for (i=0;i<=length;i++) ( var name = params.getValue('params.teamnames', i); nameArr ...

I do something similar to set team info from a table. Here's an adapted version. Your dropdown didn't have any teams in it, so I added the three teams to the dropdown and then I put this task onto the dropdown: var SelectedTeam = params.getStrValue('xpression.selector1', 0); var length = params. ...

What I would do is have the task on your timer label display! That should do the trick. If you don't have visible timer label, you can make one, put your task onto it, but then just hide your label if you don't want the timer to be a visible element. Or you could add a "while" block into that chain ...

Never used Postman and not familiar with how to do so. I most likely do not have access, just trying to pull the source code of a public website so I can pull some roster info/stats from it. Some websites let me do it just fine, but others I get the 403 error, which I assume is from whatever header information ...

Hi James, this thread where I look to get info from a Blackmagic MultiView should help you out: https://rossvideo.community/discussion/dashboard-control-of-blackmagic-multiviewvideohub-via-telnet The videohub acts very similar to the multiview and you should be able to adapt the same code and method ...

In my case, I am building a crawl using data that will only go on-air periodically. I have found an adequate work-around for this, which is I am pulling in the Google Sheet data into a Dashboard StructTable. I need to hit a button to reload the table data, but that's perfectly fine for our use. Then ...

What we have in our Dashboard is then two more parameters: One that tracks top/bottom of the inning, and one that tracks the inning number. When our Outs reach 3 outs, it not only clears any balls and strikes as you have, but on top of that it also sets top/bottom relatively, and finally if it was already ...

Hi, I have a structTable holding some info, the number of elements in that table can change at any given time. In Dashboard, it works perfect. However, in Datalinq it hangs on to old elements. For example, if I had 8 elements in the table, I would see 8 elements in Dashboard and 8 in Datalinq. ...
