Hi Adam, Which Carbonite model do you have? There are some differences in the RCP output mapping for different models, but MiniMEs outputs are the same. Refer to the link below where there is a table for the RCP output mapping. https://help.rossvideo.com/carbonite-device-db/Topics/Hardware/Aux-P ...

Hi Vakhtang, Perhaps there is some confusion. Carbonite Ultra 60 does not have 6MEs. In HD, it has up to 3MEs (6 keys per ME) with 4 miniMEs (2 keys per ME). But your understanding of shared DVEs is correct. If you use more DVEs on one ME, there are less DVEs for other MEs/miniMEs. ----------- ...

Hi Brian, A way to accomplish this is to build a DashBoard custom panel. The panel will track the ME PGM bus, and when Cam 1 or Cam 2 is on, it will put Cam 1 or 2 respectively on the miniME1's key. Otherwise, it will not do anything. I do not know how familiar you are with building custom panels ...

Hi Min, Preview Overlay would be the method to insert a clock into the Acuity multiviewer. Acuity is different from Carbonite, and therefore the method to insert a clock is different. Is there a concern about using Preview Overlay to insert the clock? ------------------------------ Aaron Business ...

Hi Fung, This query would be better posted in the Connectivity/Ultrix forum. One possible reason you are getting exclamation marks is that the old layouts use a PIP size (or sizes) that is different from the currently selected PIP sizes. In DashBoard, go to Ultriscape>Configuration. Verify ...

Hi Rachel, Which switcher is this - Carbonite or Acuity? If it is Acuity, you can accomplish this with CC Logic. The Acuity will check if the keyers are on/off, and based on the keyers' state, it will perform the programmed actions. However, if it is Carbonite, there isn't an internal ...

Hi Heimana, There isn't Sequences in Carbonite, but you can still create animated boxes. This can be achieved using Memories, with the recall mode set to Effects Dissolve. Now when each memory is recalled, the boxes will animate between the saved positions, sizes etc. Here is a old video showing ...

Hi Mark, DA: distribution amplifier. An analog DA would take the sync signal (Blackburst or Tri-level) from the Evertz master clock and send it to the UE150s, and the Carbonite. The Carbonite can work without external reference. But if the UE150s are taking reference from the Evertz master ...

Hi Mark, I am unsure why using the cut button would differ from switching directly on the program bus. However, the Panasonic camera logs showing "Genlock succeeded" is consistent with the cameras going black. When a camera gets a reference signal, it may flicker and go black for a second or two. ...
